We want young people with lived experience to help us decide what Zesummer Students does, how our support develops, and what needs to change in society.
You do not need to be a current university student. You may have graduated, left university, be considering higher education, or never have attended university.
If you are under 30 and have lived experience of being estranged, care-experienced, orphaned, independent, or without adequate family support, we would like to hear from you.

We try to work as efficiently as possible and anticipate a maximum of three hours per month unless you want to get more involved (currently our steering group meets for one hour per month).
You do not need any previous experience of committees, charities, or governance. We can provide support and training where needed.
We do not want to make decisions about independent students without those with lived experience being part of those decisions and shaping our work.
You do not need to share personal experiences publicly. You decide what you are comfortable discussing and how you would like to contribute.
Joining the charity as a member is free for you, and you can be based anywhere in Europe, including the UK.
